We are now entangled in a love/hate relationship.
I love you because of your persistent attitude that won't let me give up, but I hate you because you make me hurt.
I watched the 30 Day Shred video before actually doing it and the whole time I was thinking it would be easy. WRONG!
I was so wrong, that thing is a killer. I'm not sure if it is because I haven't been working out nearly as much as I used to, or if it was really just that difficult. I don't think I have jumped that much since I was in grade school, honestly.
I started out using 5lb weights and found out that those were just too heavy. Sounds terrible I know. My arms are really weak, especially after my attempt at terrible push-ups. Honestly those things are killer and I hate them. But, Jillian loves them and she will make me continue doing them. sigh
I honestly felt like jello when I was done, and I haven't sweat that much during a workout in a really long time. Yeah gross, sorry.
Today I am decently sore. My legs don't really hurt except for my calves, but my shoulders, abs and back are a different story. Those are pretty sore.
I'm still debating if I will be able to do this 30 consecutive days. Whatever happened to a day of rest? I thought that was important for your muscles. I don't know I guess we shall see.

Makes me want to jump on the band wagon also. I could use an extra 20lbs gone! Back to my pre college weight!
But it makes you feel good that you did something doesn't it? :) I think you're feeling a ton more than I did (not that I was in shape or anything). I think I'm not doing the crunches "correctly" which is why I'm not feeling those much. I just finished Day 10! And wow, 5 lbs. You GO GIRL!
I bought this in January as a new years resolution but never started it. The fact that so many bloggers are doing it reminded me it's sitting under my TV. I start Monday :)

I belly dance with the fit channel's shimmy, I love it!It sounds really funny to say this but it hurts sooo good. You should try swimming, low impact and you don't notice the sweat.
I just tried this today too...I used to take weight lifting classes, so I went out and bought EIGHT POUND WEIGHTS. My arms may fall off. I like though!
haha it's okay, it's day 1.. i'm sure you'll get used to it eventually. yeah, jillians tough!

I just bought that too, and haven't gotten past watching the level one workout! I'm scurred! Haha.
I am scared/excited to start it...she's still sitting on my shelf.
Jillian and I have been involved for a few weeks now and I must say that my arms are looking a lot more cut so I will continue to endure her torture. It's gotta be the push ups.
