TGIF

Have you every had one of those days you felt like you should just stay in bed? I totally feel that way today. I don't know what it is, but today is just not my day.

I have been expecting all call from the insurance adjuster about my car. I took it for an estimate yesterday and apparently the lady did $2,000 worth of damage just backing out of her drive-way. Good thing I got the estimate, I thought it was going to be a lot cheaper than that. But the insurance adjuster hasn't called me yet, bleh I hate dealing with them.

Then I came into work with a pissy email from my boss. I have been working 50+ hours a week since about September and my boss is finally getting in trouble about it. Awesome right? Well, yes and no. Last week I was told I was not able to write down my overtime so I had to leave early. That was great! Well yesterday I left 30 minutes early because I knew I wouldn't be able to today and I get a pissy email about it. Yet, he sat over here last week and told me that my coworker and I were to figure our hours out between us. The best part is, my coworker had no overtime this week and left 30 minutes early the day before and he didn't say a word to me. How does that make sense? I think I am being discriminated against because I'm so young.

Tonight is my little sisters dance recital and for some reason I had it ingrained in my mind that is next week. Well since we are "short-handed" I will not get to go, even though I offered to come in early. Gee, thanks.

I watched New In Town, and while I thought Renee Zellwegger looked amazing it just wasn't as funny as I had hoped. I think that there was some missing plot somewhere. But I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it.

So while I sit here and be grumpy I have a few friends that are attempting to cheer me up, but I think Captain Morgan is the best solution!

I def. think that mgrs treat us 20-somethings differently than our Gen-X counterparts. Whether they do it on purpose or unconsciously, I don't know, but there is definitely something going on in their heads that isn't quite the same.

What was your co-worker doing whilst your boss was making these u-turns and accusations? That's sad about the recital - you will have to ask her for a personal performance over the weekend or something. Hope this week is starting better!
